Day One Pumpkinmania!      Day One's second annual Pumpkin Patch is underway.  Open weekdays from 10am-8pm, this year's Patch features a wide assortment of pumpkins, including white, green, and orange varieties.  Pick up your festive, one-of-a-kind pumpkins and support Day One at the same time by stopping by between now and Oct 31st.  And don't forget to come by Friday Oct. 24th from 6-9pm for our annual Halloween Party.  Games, prizes, music, and food will all be available amongst the backdrop of our beautifully lighted Great Lawn.  For more info, please contact our office.

Day One Youth Advocates Speak Out For a Smoke-Free Pasadena  A small but passionate group of Day One's Youth Health Advocates provided public comment to the Pasadena City Council, which considered a proposed Outdoor Smoking Ordinance on Monday Oct. 20th.  Following their testimony, the Council voted unanimously to adopt the legislation.

Day One is a community-based nonprofit organization with a 19-year history of providing effective, high quality and culturally-sensitive public health education, intervention, and policy development by involving health policy advocacy and community mobilization efforts for alcohol, tobacco, and other drug prevention.
