The Coordinating Council, community drug-free coalition, was started in 1987 to address substance abuse prevention & policy needs of Pasadena and Altadena. Coordinating Council is a collaboration of members of the community, as well as representatives from the City of Pasadena, Pasadena Police Department, LA County Sheriff-Altadena Station, Pasadena Public Health Department, NAACP, treatment providers, youth serving organizations, faith community, and various human resources and service organizations.
